At Hygge Healing, we believe everyone has the right to a good death, and our services are guided by values of dignity, compassion and comfort.
Death can be a difficult subject to face, and something people may have little experience dealing with first hand. Sometimes we aren’t really sure where to start.
Whatever stage in life you are at, and whatever questions you might have, we are here to give you a helping hand.
Services and fees
Death Doula services really are responsive to what *you* feel you need. We’ve put an outline below give a flavour, and please do get in touch to see what might work for you.
Tamara’s fees are £65 for a half day – with a discretionally sliding scale based on need.
Whatever your circumstances, rest assured that you can get in touch for a consultation that is absolutely free.
We also run regular free, drop-in ‘Death Picnics’ – an casual way to have a chat about all things related to death and dying…
Death Planning & Assistance:
- Advance directives (or ‘living wills’) and other forward-planning
- Death cleaning / Organising the home
- Support with making decisions on dependents or pets after death
- Help with funeral planning
- Advice on legacy projects
- ‘Digital legacy’ arrangements
- Organising important information and documents
Personal Support:
- Advocacy, and emotional support
- Hypnotherapy
- Helping with recordings or writings for loved ones
- Advising on obituary and eulogy writing
- Ritual / Ceremony creation
- Helping with funeral/burial decisions, and information on ‘green burials’
- (After death) Helping with closing accounts, cancelling services/utilities, and handling/processing mail
